How about something sustainable? Like the wind.

Oh come on, the wind won’t last forever. Just wait for a still summer’s day, then we’re all fucked.

“Cold” was a Turkish girls’ favorite melodic death metal song. She was also my best friend at my former job. I fell for her; it still hurts.

sorry to hear that... older wiser people have told me it’s generally not a good idea to date coworkers

But fracking is no good, extra special horrible, very bad. :(
Why do you want to kill the Earth and poison her water, E90?
![]() 08/23/2017 at 23:34 |

Sure, if you like your water to be fiery.
![]() 08/23/2017 at 23:37 |

How does it poison the water other than maybe flow back water. At this point I should point out a majority of wells are water drive, meaning you get water at some point.

Yeah, ok I believe that.
Actually I used to know a girl from Brazil who used to frac.

What about pipelines? Nobody is drilling in the NE, but there are pipeliners coming in from all over the place.

I’m an engineer and my experience is in upstream oil, getting it out of the ground, not pipelines.

Because it isn’t just water that is being pumped back into the ground.
“In 2005 Congress—at the behest of then Vice President Dick Cheney, a former CEO of gas driller Halliburton—exempted fracking from regulation under the Safe Drinking Water Act.”

For the usual job the chemicals that I pumped into the ground:
Acetic Acid
Guar gum
A boric acid / Ethylene Glycol solution
Sodium Hydroxide
Gutaraldehyde (in my option a complete waste of money)
Sodium Thiosulfate
Cholinium chloride
If you would like to read more about the chems.
